Financial Peace University (FPU)
 

FPU is a personal money-management class. This class is taught by Dave Ramsey on DVD, followed by an engaging small group discussion. Our group will learn, laugh and maybe even cry a little as we work together to beat debt and learn basic money-management skills. Class will meet for 2 hours each Wednesday for 13 weeks, Aug. 18-Nov. 17, 6-8 p.m. $110 per kit (kit may be used by an individual or couple).

School's Out All-Day Program

School is out for the day and the kids need something fun and exciting! Bring them to the Y for a day full of activities and adventures. Activities include swimming, gym time, group games, crafts and youth fitness activities. Children must bring a sack lunch with a drink. An afternoon snack will be provided. Ages 5-10. Preregistration required.
Dates: Aug. 20, Oct. 6-8, Nov. 2
Activities: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Early care starts at 7:15 a.m.
Members: $22
Program Participants: $44


Parent's Night Out

Ages 6 months-12 years
Activities include gym games or swimming, crafts, a light snack and more! Children should eat dinner before being signed in. Swimmers must pass a basic swim test or wear a life jacket. Participants must also be able to change their own clothing in order to swim. You must register your child in advance beginning two weeks prior to the Parent's Night Out you choose. The child must be a YMCA member to participate. All times are 6-9 p.m. $10 per child

Oct. 15: Bats, Spiders and Pumpkins
Nov. 12: Giving Thanks



Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon at the Beaumont Centre Y
 

The Y will be open to the Moon Festival community for some FREE activities: swimming, walking/jogging, basketball or join us for craft making. Make your own Chinese lantern for the Moon Festival Celebration at the Moondance Amphitheatre, across the street from the Y.

Family Nights

Sept. 24: Dine In and Games Night
Dinner and games! Spaghetti (with meat sauce or marinara), salad, breadsticks and drinks will be provided. Register beginning Sept. 1.
$5 adults; $3 children 10 and under


Nov. 19: Silly Stories and Songs
Master storyteller Thomas Freese brings his popular program of Silly Stories and Songs to the Y. Including short stories (with a punch line ... or ... jokes!) and fun songs. Thomas tells of mishaps and adventures from his small familyof 8 growing up. Come hear how he sneaked a cat on a train, hear a tale of the 5 little piggies ... and much more! Register beginning Nov. 1.





Fall Festival

Friday, Oct. 22, 6-8:30 p.m.
Inflatables, games, prizes, smores and more! Free and open to the community!


Books with Mr. and Mrs. Claus

Saturday, Dec. 4, 10-11:30 a.m.
Join Mr. and Mrs. Claus as they make a stop at the Y for a morning of books, cookies and milk. Children will have the opportunity to give their Christmas list to Santa and enjoy crafts, facepainting and more with Mrs. Claus. Registration is required beginning Monday, Nov. 22 online or at member services. Free for members only.
